Access to healthcare - Getting to healthcare facilities

This page contains information to help you plan your journey to healthcare facilities by public transport.

SPT is working in partnership with other major organisations on the development, improvement and operation of transport services which serve your hospitals, clinics and surgeries.

The three main health boards in the SPT area are:

  • NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde;
  • NHS Ayrshire and Arran; and
  • NHS Lanarkshire.

Additionally, a small part of NHS Highland is included in the SPT area, and the Golden Jubilee National Hospital is a health board in its own right.

For all public transport enquiries, information is available from Traveline Scotland, by using the Journey Planner on the right hand side of this page and by telephone on 0871 200 2233.
